Thank You
This is just to say
Thank you
For being there,
Always,
In good times and bad,
Whether I needed you or not,
Just like a brother
I never had.
We've been through much together.
And whether we came out on top
Or at the bottom,
We still made it through.
It doesn't matter what we say
To each other,
What kind of argument we get into,
We still crawl back to each other
With open arms and hearts.
We have shared interests along the way,
Some of them not immediately accepted by the other,
But we still value each other's input
And the challenges of making each other see things our way,
To open our minds to new ideas,
To make each other smarter.
In many ways we are opposites,
You are tall and I am short,
You are strong and I am weak,
You are aggressive and I am depressed,
But we are always there to help each other out
In hard times,
To be that shoulder to cry on,
To offer words of wisdom
And sympathy.
These are the reasons that I'm proud to call you
My true friend.

For being there for me.
